Without this specialized training, audits risk becoming superficial and inconsistent, undermining trust among regulators, businesses, and consumers. In Malaysia, accredited programs by JAKIM, HDC, and institutions like MHCT-MATRIX play a crucial role in bridging this skills gap, supporting the nation’s vision under the Halal Industry Masterplan 2030 to become a global halal hub and empower SMEs to access international markets.
